Happy Birthday, Remove Your Hair!

mens laser hair removalFor my last birthday my wife bought me laser hair removal treatment. I know, she’s a real sweetheart. I come from a line of particularly hairy men and my own mother was disappointed to see me sprout thick dark hairs from everywhere when I hit the ripe young age of thirteen. Now I am thirty, happily married, a proud father and a successful business owner so I thought I had overcome my days of being categorised as ‘that hairy bloke’. I thought wrong. My wife handed for the voucher for laser hair removal at a Melbourne clinic and said I could choose to go whenever I want. She specifically wanted me to laser my back hair and my neck hair, the connecting carpets as she calls them, but she made it very clear that if I got a taste for it and wanted more that would be no problem. To be honest laser hair removal has always appealed to me. I like the permanency of it. I spend a fair amount of time shaving and then dealing with itchy irritated skin and the idea of that all going out the window is great. For a month before I undergo the treatment I can’t have any exposure to UV so it will have to wait a little while as we have a trip to Queensland booked in two weeks. Also a birthday present from the wife, she obviously felt guilty about the laser hair removal being my main gift. I called up the laser clinic and inquired about when and where I could have the treatment, turns out they do laser hair removal in Ballarat so I can tie it in with a visit to my parents. They will probably be thrilled about my upcoming hair removal, they are constantly telling me I look like a bear.
