Dry Needling, Marion and The Gym

New Zealand dry needling coursesIt has been about three years since I have had any contact with my ex-wife. I believe the last time we spoke she told me that if she never heard from me again she would live a happy and a peaceful life and be all the better for it. Every once in awhile I get a patient that I know is a friend of hers, probably sent to spy on me. Usually I don’t say anything and pretend I have no idea that they are part of her book club, or cards group, but when Marion Johnson walked in and started yammering on at me about dry needling I just couldn’t help it. She was almost yelling at me about how amazing dry needling therapy is and how barbaric it is that I do not offer it as a pain treatment for my patients. Apparently all the best doctors now offer dry needling but it was typical of me to behind the times. Thanks Marion. I told her to stop spying on me and tell Sandra I am fine and she can stop sending her undercover agents. While I was able to quickly forget about Marion, my thoughts did linger on the idea of getting trained in dry needling. I had heard some guys at the gym talking about registering for dry needling courses based in New Zealand and it sounds like it could be a good thing for my practice and my patients. I just didn’t want to give Marion the satisfaction, and in turn my ex-wife, of having influenced any decision I made. However, when I got an email containing information about the benefits of dry needling treatments I couldn’t hold out any longer. Before I knew it I was booked on to a week full of dry needling courses in Auckland, once again proving my ex-wife still manages to meddle in my life even though we do not speak. I have referred Marion to another doctor.
